Devon Still does it again; He’s an AP All-American

Devon Still’s ninth All-America honor may be his biggest one yet.

The Penn State senior defensive tackles was named a first-team Associated Press All-America — the seventh-straight year that a Nittany Lion has been honored by the AP.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound standout previously has been selected a first-teamer by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Football Writers Association of America, ESPN.com, CBSsports.com, SI.com, Pro Football Weekly, Yahoo! Sports and FoxSportsNext.com/Scout.com.

The co-captain is Penn State’s 22nd first team All-American since starting Big Ten play in 1993. The Lions have earned 10 first team selections since 2005.

Still was the 2011 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. He also was a finalist for the Bednarik Award and Nagurski Trophy, both given to the nation’s top defensive player.
