Penn State football chat, holiday edition: 8 p.m., Dec. 17

We’ve got one more Penn State chat left in us for 2012. So join Frank Bodani Monday at 8 p.m. to talk about recruiting, especially the recent pickup of junior college quarterback Tyler Ferguson.

What do the Nittany Lions have left to do before signing day in early February?

We’ll also touch on Big Ten expansion, scheduling, Bill O’Brien and continue to look ahead to the 2013 season.

In the meantime, check out my column today on how Big Ten expansion is giving Penn State fans what they always wanted.

    Allright..any chance the B1G adds 6?

  2. BobbyJ says:

How about…. UVA, UNC, GT, FSU, Miami, ND..

    • Frank Bodani says:

Don’t think Notre Dame will ever join the Big Ten. Miami is intriguing, but there are negatives there. As in a weak fan base, poor facilities and recent NCAA trouble.

  3. BobbyJ says:

Ferguson has an odd delivery…long wind up…can he operate in a quick pass, timing offense?

    • Frank Bodani says:

Hey Bobby. Heard that he played behind a terrible line last year in junior college. Plus, now he also will have Bill O’Brien and Charlie Fisher coaching him. I’m giving the coaches the benefit of the doubt, for now.

  4. PSU Dave says:

Hate to use the dirty “R” word – RUMORS – but there have been inklings that recruits are being told sanctions will be reduced. First – have you heard of such? Second – do YOU think it’s even a remote possibility?

    • Frank Bodani says:

I know, I know. That the NCAA sanctions could be lessened. We’ve heard it, too. But we’re not sure where that’s coming from. At least yet.
