Defensive end Pete Massaro will be the third Nittany Lion to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Saturday in California.
He joins senior defensive end Sean Stanley and running back Mike Zordich in the 6 p.m. ET game at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. ESPN2 will televise the contest.
This past season, Massaro made eight tackles with a tackle for loss and one pass break-up despite missing a couple of games with a shoulder injury.
Also on Saturday, linebacker Gerald Hodges and center Matt Stankiewitch will play in the 88th East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Fla. (4 p.m., NFL Network).
