Penn State football chat, 8 p.m., September 16

We will be dissecting Penn State’s first loss of the season and, of course, looking ahead to Kent State.

As usual, we’ll be chatting tonight from 8 to 9.

Quarterback Christian Hackenberg turned in a third-straight impressive effort vs. Central Florida.

So where do you think the Nittany Lions go from here?

What do you believe Bill O’Brien and defensive coordinator John Butler need to do for this defense to improve on a most ragged effort vs. Central Florida?

Who was your player of the game for week three?

Bring all of your questions for beat reporter Frank Bodani, whether it’s about the Lions, the rest of the Big Ten or recruiting.

What is going on with Barnes and Amos. Expecting big things from the m but so far nothing.

Good question about Deion Barnes and Adrian Amos. For all the talk about depth issues and bad tackling, the key to this Penn State defense, from the beginning, was a more well-rounded Barnes and a big-play Amos.

Will still give them some time, but Barnes may actually be playing too hard, trying to make too much happen, thus over-running plays.
