Penn State football chat, 8 p.m., Jan. 27

As national signing day rapidly approaches, James Franklin’s new Penn State staff is still blazing ahead to lure in 2014 recruits.

Two more highly-prized high school seniors joined the Nittany Lions over the weekend. And it looks like this recruiting class may have room for two more. Who will the last spots go to?

James Franklin just convinced top prospects Koa Farmer and Saeed Blacknall to leave Cal and Rutgers to join the Lions.

And how impressive is it that, in just two weeks, Franklin was able to get California safety/outside linebacker Koa Farmer and New Jersey receiver Saeed Blacknall to flip their commitments to PSU? Both are considered elite four-star prospects by national recruiting sites.

Let’s chat about all that and more tonight from 8 to 9. If you can’t join me then (or are just too excited to wait), make sure to leave a question or an opinion at any point today.

And make sure to check out my column today on Jordan Hill and his father and about his homecoming at the Super Bowl.

Plus, don’t miss my take on Terry Smith coming back to Penn State as he join Franklin’s new staff.
