Penn State football chat, 8 p.m., Feb. 10

Finally, James Franklin and his staff got some time off over the weekend. And the 2014 recruiting class is in the books.

So let’s chat at 8 tonight about where the new head coach and the Nittany Lions go from here.

First up is continuing the early work on the 2015 recruiting class, which consists of high school juniors. Particular emphasis will be on Pennsylvania prospects, since this should be a loaded group.

What did you think of Franklin’s closing recruiting efforts since stepping on campus? Thoughts on last week’s “Signature Event” at the Bryce Jordan Center?

Remember, if you can’t make the chat, or just want to get a head-start, drop by a question at any point today.

And also listen here as Jim Seip and I break down the Lions’ recruiting finish and look ahead to new Big Ten rival Maryland with York County head coach Randy Edsall.

  1. PJ says:

Do you think PSU can nab 2015 qb recruit Brandon Wimbush?

    • Frank Bodani says:

This could come down to how much James Franklin and Penn State really want him, as the evaluation process continues. The staff definitely wants a quarterback in this class. But it is early. Wimbush is a dual-threat type with a strong but not-so-accurate arm yet.
