Spring practice is hitting the home stretch before the Blue-White Game on April 12.

Spring practice focus: Christian Hackenberg and Zach Zwinak (28).

Meanwhile, James Franklin and staff are killing it on the recruiting trail. At this rate, their class of 2015 will be nearly finished before the season even starts.

What do you think of the Nittany Lions’ two most recent verbal commitments, offensive lineman Steven Gonzalez and linebacker Josh Barajas?

Let’s chat about all of that and more tonight from 8 to 9.

Your thoughts/chances bowl ban dropped for this year!?

    • Frank Bodani says:

      Hi Christian,
I believe there is a decent chance that the bowl ban will be dropped. I say that because last September, when the NCAA reduced Penn State’s sanctions in regard to scholarships, it mentioned that the bowl ban could be the next step.
If it happens, I would expect it anywhere from May through September, probably toward the latter.

Hi Frank, I always read your chat on Mondays, and like to hear your podcasts. Is there something in the air about recruit Adam McLean, just saw 9 new crystalball predictions today and all were leaning to PSU!!! I know there are no guarantees, but that many predictions in one day. Something has to be in the air.

    • Frank Bodani says:

Thanks for tuning in, Herb. As for Adam McLean, just read yesterday where it seems like he’s pretty high on Penn State. I’m getting the sense that James Franklin and staff have made very clear how important they view him to this still-limited 2015 class. Seems like PSU may be pushing harder and earlier than others.
