Video: Penn State linemen, assistant coaches try to catch punts at spring practice

Here’s a fun spring practice video from GoPSUSports.com.

Penn State coach James Franklin held a punt-catching contest at a recent practice, but the participants were anything but the usual suspects. Instead, Penn State’s linemen and assistant coaches and staff members tried their hand at catching punts. Some passed the test with flying colors, but others — especially some coaches — were greeted with friendly jeers from the rest of the team.

Watch for an appearance by Gettysburg’s Tim Bream, Penn State’s director of athletic training services, at the 1:20 mark.
