Gameday recap

May 29
Road Warriors 5, York Revolution 0
The Revolution are in trouble.
When a team loses two straight to the Road Warriors — it’s bad.
But when the Road Warriors shut out a team — it’s really bad.

The Revs (10-12) managed a season-low four hits, and York had just seven base runners all game. York has not won a series since taking two out of three in Lancaster (May 18-20).
York lefty Chris Steinborn (1-2) allowed two homers, accounting for all of the Road Warriors’ runs.
York’s lone highlight: Chris Cooper, Adam Thomas 3 IP, 3 hits
Top hitter: Vito Chiaravolloti 2-for-4, 3-run HR
Top pitcher: Trevor Marcotte, 6 IP, 2 hits

About Jim Seip

During one of my first shifts at a newspaper, my editor stood up and cursed out his computer for what seemed like five minutes. It took a few more weeks to realize this type of behavior isn't all that unusual at newspapers.
