The playing field at Sovereign Bank Stadium still needs some work.

Not much, but enough considering the Revs home opener is scheduled for Friday night.

* A large hole remains near the base of the left-field home run wall, but the manual scoreboard in is expected to be installed today.

* The foul poles in place along the first- and third-base lines still need to be painted yellow.

* The batter's eye in center field was installed Wednesday afternoon, and work continued on the visitors bullpen.

The good news?

The two trailers that will be used as on-site clubhouses arrived Tuesday. Team employees were busy setting up the trailers Wednesday night.
