It's wet, but Revs plan to play tonight

York Revolution officials said at 2:50 p.m. today that tonight's home game against the Bridgeport Bluefish is still on, despite weather concerns.

The game at Sovereign Bank Stadium is scheduled to being at 7:05 p.m.

The forecast is calling for continued showers and scattered thunderstorms this afternoon, with rain lessening after 5 p.m.

Tonight, the Revs will offer a $1 hot dog, $1 Yuengling draft promotion at Sovereign Bank Stadium to promote "Go Green Night." Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite green attire when they attend the game. Held in the picnic area, fans in green will be able to taste free samples of Yuengling products, and purchase hot dogs and Yuengling drafts for $1 each.

The first 2,000 fans will receive green Mardi Gras beads and a fan courtesy of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade committee.

The York Revolution team will be wearing green hats, and fans will have the opportunity to purchase green hats and T-shirts at the game.
