A team on its own

| | Comments (0)

The York Revolution and its ownership group, Opening Day Partners, has changed the way it will acquire players in 2008.

While Adam Gladstone, the head of baseball operations, remains in charge of York, he will no longer be in charge of acquiring players for Camden, Lancaster and Bridgeport. ODP's process of acquiring players drew criticism. and late in the season Somerset manager Sparky Lyle questioned the competitive integrity of the franchises operated by ODP.

In a related move, Lancaster has named Keith Lupton as the leader for its player procurement process.
