We sit down again with York Daily Record/Sunday News reporter Steve Navaroli to talk about one of the worst teams in all of baseball -- the York Revolution.
Looking forward, one of the big obstacles will be York's start in the second half. And looking forward to next season, it will be interesting to see if Opening Day Partners decides to shift its philosophy on how it builds teams. Who can argue with the job Southern Maryland's Butch Hobson has done managing his club and signing his players?

Thanks for the insight fellas. Maybe next year Jim Seip could be the skipper and Steve Navaroli be the director of player personnel?
Biff! How are you doing? No thanks on the baseball operations job. I have enough trouble managing a checking account let alone a ball club. If you think the Revs struggled in the first half, you should see what a pair of reporters could do with some money and phone numbers. I'm thinking 0-70 in the first half could be a real possibility.
One thing I should note that I failed to clarify in the podcast. After talking to Peter Kirk this week, it's clear he loves the work Butch Hobson does in Southern Maryland in managing and signing players. But it's unlikely Opening Day Partners would hire one man to manage and sign players at the rest of their clubs, simply because people of Hobson's skill are so difficult to find.
