Rain delay

| | Comments (0)

Bridgeport drilled four straight singles to open the top of the third inning, opening up a 1-0 lead.

However, the rally was slowed by Mother Nature as a steady rain began falling at Sovereign Bank Stadium forcing the tarp crew into action, delaying the game at 7:50 p.m.

When play resumes, the Bluefish will have the bases loaded and no one out with the very large Jesse Hoorelbeke at the plate.
