Chris Hoiles, manager of the York Revolution, is stepping down from his position for personal reasons, according to a news release from the team.

Revs manager Chris Hoiles did not attend Tuesday's game at Sovereign Bank Stadium because he needed to tend to personal matters, according to team officials.

Bench manager Sam Snider will fill in as interim manager, the release stated.

We love the Revs. And, we love Chris Hoiles. As my husband says, "We did sign up to watch a baseball team play". If some fans choose to sit home next year or this year, I am sad for them. We will support the York Revolution. I am sure that the last thing that Chris Hoiles wants is to have fans trash the team he helped build and lead to the playoffs last year. This is tough. My instant reaction was to blast the team haters, who will always exist. And, to blast management. As my husband says, this is sad; we hate it. This is baseball. Get on with it.
GO REVS!!!!
