‘Gregarious’ and ‘Joe Ticket’ leaving Revs

The Revs will replace two visible members of their front office staff. Sometime on-field announcer “Gregarious” (aka Greg Vojtanek) and the team’s always trustworthy “Joe Ticket” (aka Joe Charles) are leaving the team.
Charles was the director of ticketing, often sneaking into the press box to scribble down the number of tickets purchased for every night’s game. He has accepted a position outside the baseball business.
Vojtanek (pictured above) was the marketing director and one of integral people in creating the Revs mascot DownTown and one of the reasons the Revs brought a cannon to downtown York. He is headed to New York City. One of his under-appreciated talents included entertaining dozens of people by writing silly bios for the front office staff.

The bio for stadium operations manager Josh Brown: “Josh was born and bred in Georgia. Josh has been known to exclaim loudly, in the office, ‘THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN!’ In case you’re wondering, yes, Josh is related to Kenny Brown.”
Just a small aside, Josh and Kenny are not related. Check out their bios here.
Megan Hendon has been named the Revs new director of ticketing, and Tim Beckwith will be the new director of marketing and promotions.

I coined the term Joe Ticket at lunch one day at Brenda’s. Good times!
