York Daily Record/Sunday News Sportswriter Jim Seip has covered minor league baseball since 2001. He's covered the York Revolution since the franchise's first game in 2007.

Faithful reader, 1st time commenter. Thanks, I love the updated rosters and the info you give
Long Island opens the season at Bridgeport. I’m assuming Adam Greenberg will bat leadoff for the Bluefish again this season. Valerio de los Santos is under contract with the Ducks. Possible awkward moment. Just sayin.
Over at the interview with Mason featured on the Revolution’s webstie, the interviewer says that Stidfole will not be back. Is that definitely true? Did he get a new shot with affiliated ball?
The Revs roster is not yet finalized. We’ll come to spring camp with at least 25 players under contract, at the moment we’ve only announced 15. So there is still time for Stidfole to join the club.
Right now his status is uncertain. Should he sign with the Revolution, the team will release that as soon as he does.
Greg … thank you. Keep the faith.
Paul … shouldn’t you be following Bowling Green baseball right now? I totally blanked on Santos’ name, but yes, this could be a reunion no one wants to celebrate. (Santos hit Greenberg with a 91 mph fastball in Greenberg’s only MLB at-bat, and Greenberg struggled with vertigo after the beaning.)
Anonymous … In the Q-and-A Mason doesn’t actually say Stidfole won’t return. The interviewer worded the question as if R.J. Rodriguez was taking the job of closer from Stidfole. That isn’t accurate. Stidfole did a bit of everything last year, including close. I’d be surprised if he didn’t return.
Paul … well said. (Any chance Jon Berti bats .450 for the Falcons this year?)
Holy crap…
Berti…Cooperstown.
