All-Star ballots available online

The Atlantic League and defending league champion York Revolution released the All-Star ballot today.
Fans vote on all position players and the designated hitter for each division. Voting continues through Wednesday, July 6. In a process I’ve never quite understood, the All-Star rosters are decided by the fan vote, Atlantic League field managers, coaching staffs and league front offices. (In other words, whoever has the biggest checkbook or loudest voice sways the selection. At least that’s the way I’ve always considered this process since transparency doesn’t exist in the league’s All-Star voting.)
For the first time in franchise history, the York Revolution will host the Atlantic League All-Star Game at 7 p.m. July 13 at Sovereign Bank Stadium.
The pitching staffs and starting pitchers are selected by Liberty Division manager Willie Upshaw, Freedom Division manager Andy Etchebarren and the Atlantic League board of directors. (My opinion: Why are the board of directors involved?)
Final rosters will be announced Friday, July 8.

I know I’m biased on this but wouldn’t it be great to have Thurm start the All Star game…he’s having one of his best years that I can remember…a couple times no run support and a game where the win was yanked out from under him in the 9th…but like I said I’m definately biased on this (since I have about 6 of his auction jerseys!)
