York lands former Phils pitcher Geary

Former Phillies reliever Geoff Geary is on his way to York, York manager Andy Etchebarren confirmed Wednesday. The right-hander spent 2003-2009 in the big leagues with the Phillies and Astros.
Geary is driving from his home in California and could join the Revs later this week.
He owns a 3.92 career ERA in the big leagues. Geary pitched in Triple-A last season, and he has recovered from Tommy John surgery.
It will be Geary’s first appearance in independent baseball.
