Friday night wrapup

The Revs newly-acquired players, Kyle Haines and Rian Kiniry, figured big in York’s 10-inning victory against Lancaster. Slugger Chris Nowak will return to York after being released by his Mexican League team Friday. York’s additions may not join team until this weekend

Revs trying to fill a big need

The York Revolution have two options in replacing first baseman Chris Nowak. They can either look for a short-term solution, finding another independent player who has been recently released. Or they can look long-term, waiting for a recently-released first baseman from affiliated baseball to sign with York, according to reporter Jim Seip on June 25, 2012.
