The Dodgers signed former Revs lefty Victor Garate according to Baseball America. Garate, 28, appeared in just one game for York last season, allowing four hits in 1 2/3 innings of work. A former big leaguer, Garate came to York late in the season with the intention of working his way into the Revs starting rotation. He left the team for personal reasons after appearing in one game.
In other Atlantic League news, former Sugar Land Skeeters pitcher Will Startup has signed with the Tigers.
