SIGNED PLAYERS 

In 2011 the Atlantic League sold 34 players to major league organizations, including Jerome Williams (pictured above, courtesy AP) — who returned to the major leagues after starting the season in Lancaster. The following list details the Atlantic League players who had their contracts purchased by major league organizations or professional leagues outside the U.S. during the 2011 regular season. The league sells players to MLB organizations and foreign leagues during the regular season. No money changes hands if a player signs with a MLB organization during the Atlantic League’s spring training or after the Atlantic League’s season ends.
