For a non-refundable deposit of $25 per seat, area baseball fans will soon be able to purchase what amounts to “first dibs for seat locations at the yet-to-be-built minor-league stadium that will be home to the York Revolution.

On Wednesday, the team will begin selling what it terms “priority numbers on its Web site — www.yorkrevolution.com — for inaugural-season tickets.

Those who purchase priority numbers for $25 apiece will be asked to indicate their seat location and package preference at the time of deposit, although their final choice is not required until the team’s “Select A Seat event, at a date to be announced.
