Good news for Rabbittransit riders

| | Comments (0)

Rabbittransit will not be increasing its fares in July, according to a news release.

The transit authority had planned to increase fares by 5 cents on the fixed route services and 25 cents on the express service between York and Harrisburg.

"Given the current economic climate and the successful negotiation of a new fuel contract, the board felt it necessary to forgo the impending fare increase," executive director Richard Farr said in the news release.
