The American Automobile Association expects that more Americans will be traveling for Memorial Day this year, thanks to lower gas prices and travel bargains.
AAA projects a 1.5 percent increase in people traveling 50 miles or more for the holiday, according to a news release.
And nearly 83 percent will be going by automobile.
