It looks like Route 15 in York County could be resurfaced with stimulus funds after all.
Bids for projects funded through American Recovery and Reinvestment Act have been coming in about 11 percent below estimates, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
That has allowed the state to add another 52 projects to the list of highway and bridge improvements.
The list includes $3.6 million for resurfacing Route 15 from Golf Course Road to the Cumberland County line.
Route 15 had been on a preliminary list earlier this year as a stimulus project but was not selected in the first round.
