Deadline extended for safe driving radio contest

| | Comments (0)

High school students now have until March 12 to submit entries for the "Drive Safe PA" radio contest, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The deadline was extended because of the weather-related school cancellations.

So far, Central York School District is the only one from York County that has submitted entries, according to PennDOT.

High school sophomores, juniors and seniors can create a public service announcement focused on aggressive driving, buckling up, or driving under the influence.
