Shawna speaks?
It's Saturday morning here and little Gary has gone to the Great Wall with a group of other families from the hospital. I had him take the camera, so hopefully he'll get some good shots for us.
Gary (Dad) is on a quest to find real American food [laughing] so he has gone out for a bit to see what he can find.
Shawna and I are watching a movie; taking it easy.
O.K. ... there is no "secret" ... I was quite clear in my blog that I didn't want to report on one thing I've noticed until I was sure. Well, it would seem that Shawna is definitely saying "more" while I'm feeding her pudding. I told her to let me know when she was ready for another bite and she did. As soon as she swallowed what was in her mouth, she said "more" and then opened her mouth wide so I could give her the next bite. She has been doing it pretty consistently. Accordingly, she now has a two word vocabulary ... "Mom" and "more".

Hi! Hope you all had a good weekend, so gald to hear about Shawnas vocabulary. Hope Lil Gary enjoyed the Great Wall & Dad Gary found American food. Tell Shawna we are very proud of her & to Keep up the good job. Paul baseball team made it to the championship game & were defeated 5-4, But the opposing team was stacked, but like I told Paul & his coach our boys gave it their best shot. Crystal & kaden were involved in a car accident on Fri. &are okay but Crystals car is not. A 16 yr. old boy rearended her at about 60mph when she had signaled to turn into the bank, But thank God my kids are okay. Well got to go for now & I will write again tomorrow. That is wonderful news. It sounds like the treatments are working. I am so happy to hear this!! I do not know Shawna or any of the family personally but, I have been following this story in hopes of Shawna getting better. My prayers are with all of you! God Bless.

The news is FANTASTIC, it made my day to hear she is asking for more! Keep up the great work, I pray for Shawna and you guys everyday. It is so nice to hear there are so many wonderful people in China that have helped you on this journey. Give Shawna kisses from us and tell her to keep up the great work! Shawna is so blessed to have such a support system in both you Lorraine, Gary and Gary jr. Although Marcy isn't with you in China I know her heart is. Take care and keep up the great work; you are all such an inspiration.
