Shawna's still in there
There are so many new patients that have come in and, since we have been here the longest, we feel that we should show them around Beijing. Little Gary and I have learned all the good places to go and get whatever is needed without getting ripped off. Needless to say, we have been very busy lately ... running all over Beijing.
Tonight Gary (Dad) and I are organizing a dinner trip outside the hospital. There is a restaurant called "Morrells" here that all of the locals and foreigners say we must go to eat at. Accordingly, we will all go tonight; can't wait ... everyone says they are famous for their steaks! You cannot imagine how much you miss certain foods until you cannot find them! Therefore, Gary and I have scheduled either Friday or Saturday nights to go out and find real food ... lol.
Shawna is doing just fine. The doctors here are happy with her progress so far ... they keep giving us thumbs up with respect to Shawna. Her therapists seem delighted with her and they feel that Shawna is "in there". Do you know how great it is to hear that? We have believed it all along, but to have someone else, besides family, cooborate with us is a really good feeling.
Little Gary's Birthday is tomorrow, so he will watch Shawna for us tonight while we go to dinner. That way, tomorrow is all his to do what he wants ... and he has planned the entire day and night out already. Turning 18 is such a big deal! lol. He's been sowing some oats over here, but it's all good. He has been a big help to us and other families here at the hospital. We are truly blessed to have such great children.
Well, I'm going to run for now and go find Gary and Shawna in therapy.

Hey all! Well, it's been a while since I got to write. Glad to hear all is well. I check the journal everyday on my cell phone but it won't let me sign the guestbook. So, I am going to look for a new car today. My mom is taking me to York to see what I can find. Anyway...Happy Birthday Gary II!!!! Even though I know it is tomorrow. I have to work, so I won't get a chance to write in here tomorrow. I'm so excited to hear all the new changes with Shawna. Maybe this is answer we have been looking for huh? Will there possibly be another trip to China? Well, we all are on the count down for the return of Weils!!!! I can't wait. I don't know how many times I have to say it. I guess I just miss Shawna that bad. So, anyway, not much else for me to tell right now. I will let you all know how the search for a new car goes. I love you guys. Give my girl lots of hugs and kisses!!!! Send Dustin's love to her too. I keep in touch with what's going on. Love Always, Crystal.

Hi! I'm glad to hear all the good news about Shawna. Tell Gary II not too much partying. Hope you & Dad have a good dinner & eat some steak for me lol. Well Crystal looked at a car yesterday & it was not good , has an oil leak,needs a axle boot, & has a radio that does not work, so needless to say I told her not to bother with it,keep looking. She's looking for a Jetta for around 5000.00, but I don't know if she will find one at that price. Going to go for now going to the burn party at Dan's barn our neighbor. Good morning. Hope you all had a good weekend. Nothing much going on in the states except it's cold rainy & snowed enough in the north to delay schools by 2 hours. The Ravens & Steelers lost yesterday. Jimmie Johnson is the Nextel Nascar Champ for the 2nd year in a row. Well got to go for now got to get Paul off to school. I will write again tomorrow. Hey I just found this blog. Looks like Shawna is doing well, I hope the best for her always. She is in there and when she comes out she's gonna have A LOT to say...LOL. I talked to Deb a little on pogo but with the kids and holidays I haven't been on there much. I love the pictures it reminds me of the weils I know and love. Happy Birthday Gary hope you had a good time. I 've been keeping up on the articles in the paper and look forward to your safe return.
