Two weeks to go...
We only have a little over 2 weeks left. We are on the countdown for sure now!
We went out to dinner tonight to say goodbye to Dan and LaNae from Utah ... they will leave us tomorrow morning. Nurse Linda stayed with Shawna tonight so that little Gary could go out to dinner too.
Though little Gary didn't take pictures of them at the Great Wall of China, Dan and LaNae are who he went with to see it.
Saying goodbye to another family is hard, especially since we have been here together this entire time. It also brings about the realization that we only have 16 days left here ourselves.
Shawna is doing great! She seems to be very relaxed lately. Gary (Dad) has noticed that she has been crossing her body with her arms ... this is new. Not a big deal, but every little thing counts!

The time has seemed so long but it really isn't. Family and friends are anxious to have you home. Two weeks will seem like an eternity. Happy birthday to lil Gary!!! About to lose internet service--switching--don't know how long without. lol

I so can't wait until you all return home,you all have been missed by all of us. Glad to hear Shawna is doing good. We are on the count down as well. It looks like Crystal is going to buy a 2000 Dodge Durango, so she'll be driving a big girl SUV. Well got to go for now. I'll write again tomorrow. LOVE & PRAYERS THE SMITH'S

Shawna and family I've been reading this since you let the states. I'm so excited for you. I check for progress daily and talk about Shawna all the time at work. And keep them up to date on her progress. Every little bit makes a difference it's just amazing. Have a great Thanksgiving holiday. Shawna keep up the good work. We are so happy to hear about this experience. We are happy for Shawna and all of you. To know Shawna is so relaxed and showing you all her self and we thank GOD for all the blessings he has given Shawna! We love you all and are greatfull for the news of the small things. Glad to here of the trips outside the hospital. roger and I were at the same sights ie Greatwall,The Forbidden city, Summer Palace it was awesome. Roger misses Gary very much and can't wait to talk to him like they use to. our prayers are with you. love Debbie and Roger Happy Birthday lil Gary :)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL! I'M THANKFUL TO HEAR THAT SHAWNA IS STILL TOLERATING EVERYTHING SO WELL. I'M ALSO THANKFUL THAT I'M GOING BACK TO WORK IN TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!FALL HAS DEFINETLY PEAKED HERE. I'm so glad to hear that you all are doing so well, especially Shawna. Please let her know there are people at home who have never met her that care about her and are praying for her recovery.
