If turkey took up your holiday weekend, make time this week to visit the Christmas Magic Festival of Lights at Rocky Ridge County Park. Walk the half-mile trailed lined with 400,000 lights, and stop in to visit Santa and view holiday scenes.
The park, east of York a mile and a half north of Route 30 off Route 24, is open 6 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5 to 9 p.m. on the weekends.
Opening night was Friday, but the show runs through Dec. 31 (closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25). Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for children ages 4 to 12 and $7 for seniors, and you can snag a BOGO coupon for adult admission Monday through Thursday on the event website. Call 840-7740 or visit yorkcountyparks.org for more information.
