Here’s a tip on a great place to go for a free visit AND PHOTO with Santa:
Head to Bass Pro Shops at the Harrisburg Mall, off Route 283 (and close to the turnpike) in Dauphin County.
Even on Black Friday afternoon, there was a short wait to see the Big Man in Red, who was a sweet, authentic-looking Santa.
Plus, Bass Pro Shops has a free carousel (with bears and elk to ride on), free coloring pages and pre-printed forms so you can write a letter to Santa and mail it right there, free trains to run on tracks, free games and more.
We spent an hour just in the Santa area and didn’t spend a dime. It was holiday paradise!
