It’s that time of year to reflect on the past 12 months and see if they were all you’d hope they’d be.
I had a great 2011, and I’m looking forward to an even better 2012.
Here’s my top-10 list of things that happened in 2011. They are in no particular order. Please share your top-10 list in comments.
1. I celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary with my best friend in May.
2. I spent a week at Disney World, one of my fave places, with Hubs and my sons in August.
3. Hubs took me to Key West on a surprise trip and I toured Hemingway’s home and President Truman’s Little White House. We hung out at Captain Tony’s and Sloppy Joe’s and flew in a seaplane to Dry Tortugas National Park where I explored Fort Jefferson and snorkeled. And, best part, we’re going back in 2012.
4. I signed with a terrific literary agent (Terrie Wolf) who loves my work and has become my biggest cheerleader and advocate. We’re looking forward to a great 2012 and hopeful that it brings publishing deals.
5. I wrote the young adult novel, “The Moment Keeper.”
6. I revised my young adult novel, “Ella’s Rain.”
7. I started Buffy’s World (social media blog) and corresponding campaign kicked off.
8. My youngest son graduated from high school.
9. I started new middle grade and young adult novels.
10. And of course none of the above would be anything without the enduring love and support of family and friends. They always make every year extra special.
Now, your turn. Let’s see those top-10 lists.
