Fashion Week can get wild. Designers see this time of year as an opportunity to send art down the runway — and sometimes the outfits we see aren’t exactly practical.
But, in London, there were a few looks to love — that could also be translated into office attire.
Here’s my picks (and how to wear it for less):
Pair a patterned top with a leather skirt. Keep it all the same color and choose a pattern that has an iconic pop. Go for a high collar, but choose a fitted shirt.
Buy it now: If you like the heart detail, check out Coldwater Creek’s Dotted hearts shirt, $79.95 to $89.95. Find a killer leather skirt on Piperlime: Perforated Vegan Leather Skirt, $79.
Choose solid, bold separates that contrast (are opposite on the color wheel). So, put a red or hot pink top with blue trousers or blue top with a yellow pencil skirt.
Buy it now: Get the Joie Marlo Silk Top from Piperlime, on sale for $173.99, in hot pink. Pair it with the Tibi Jagger Skinny Beatles Cropped Pant in Pacific Blue, on sale for $176.99 at Piperlime.

Add a large clutch to your work wardrobe and make it the lightest piece of your outfit. Purses demand attention.
But it now: An identical look to the Paul Smith clutch is Aldo’s MEERUT in light green $40.
