Get ready to be in harmony with your garden — the theme for the 2013 PA Garden Show of York is Nature’s Symphony. The show runs March 1-3 at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave., West Manchester Township.

Attendees can expect landscape display gardens, live artists, an all-new craft section, make-it and take-it workshops, seminars and plenty on sale in the Garden Market, according to a release.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a show without a little competition: Eleven different landscapers will vie for awards in Overall Design, Walkways, Water Feature, Color, Best Interpretation of Theme and Architectural Features.

The featured speaker for the show is author Tovah Martin. Join her for seminars 6 p.m. March 1 and 2 p.m. March 2. Bookland will have her new release and older titles available for purchase. Martin will also sign copies.

Tickets are available in advance, $9 for adults and $8 for seniors, Cross Creek Farm in Glen Rock, True Value Plus in Shrewsbury and Loganville, Kondor Media at 1243 E. Market St., York and at www.pagsy.com. Tickets at the door at $11 for adults and $9 for seniors. Children 12 years and younger admitted free.

Two admissions specials are offered Friday: Families enter free from 5 to 8 p.m. for “Family Fun Night,” and any couples enter at $5 each for “Date Night.”
