Red-carpet celebrities have the money to make serious fashion statements, with the help of accredited designers.
Jennifer Garner wore $2.5 million worth of platinum jewelry by Neil Lane to the 2013 Oscars Sunday, according to a press release by Platinum Guild International.
Other celebrities dripping in jewels include Ann Hathaway (wearing $354,300), Naomi Watts (wearing $1.5 million) and Zoe Saldana (wearing $1 million).
Having a million-dollar look isn’t new — if anything, it’s in vogue for red-carpet events today.
In 2011, Amy Adams wore a platinum, diamond and emerald haute joaillerie secret watch bracelet, worth $1.025 million.
And, celebrities aren’t stopping with just the gown or jewels; expensive bling on Kelly Osbourne’s fingernails last September got a lot of attention. She had a $250,000 manicure, her polish was infused with 267-carats of black diamonds.
