This sounds like a very worthwhile program! I would love to see more information on this topic… maybe delve into each of the areas listed under the class curriculum with just a few practical pointers that parents could easily incorporate into their homes. I have two young boys and a daughter and while we try to encourage good manners at the table and in public, it would be nice to have something to follow in actually teaching these types of social skills rather than hoping we cover all the bases through incidental teaching. Thanks, Heidi and Smart magazine for bringing this program to my attention.
Hi Pam —
So glad you found the information helpful!
We also had a story on page 54 that included age-appropriate etiquette lessons for kids that Heidi contributed to.
Have a great week!
April
Great article – I need to work on these practices at home. Please continue to post more helpful tips on etiquette because it is becoming lost in todays world. This is refreshing. Thanks.
