Bring Back the Natives Tour

Interested in using native plants in your yard? Visit gardens on the Bring Back the Natives tour, July 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and get some new ideas. The tour includes a variety of gardens, from those just starting to use natives, to extensive gardens that mimic native meadows and natural woodlands. The MAEscapes garden at the Penn State Extension Office serves as headquarters for the tour. In addition to this garden three of the nine sites are in the Wrightsville area, one in downtown York, one in Lewisberry and three in Abbottstown area. Tickets purchased before July 14 are $8.00 each. The day of the tour tickets will be $10.00. For more information, call 840-7408 and ask for Ashley.
