Mark Your Calendars for the Native Plant Sale
Make sure you don't miss this year's Native Plant Sale 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 17 at Richard M. Nixon County Park. Bigger and better this year, the sale sponsored by MAEscapes (Mid-Atlantic Ecological Landscapes) features more than 125 species of perennials, ferns, grasses, trees and shrubs native to the Mid-Atlantic area. All plants come from local growers and are well adapted for our area. Proceeds benefit MAEscapes educational projects.
Penn State Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and help you choose the best plants for your site. The sale does sell out, so come early for the best selection.
