Curt Schilling has announced his retirement on his blog, 38pitches.com.

Loved Curt when he was a Phillie. Still cheered for him in Arizona as I couldn't blame him for leaving. But I just couldn't support him once he joined the evil empire in Boston.

Not sure if he would get a vote from me for the HOF. At least not until Bert Blylevin makes it in.

I'd vote for Schil in a heartbeat. Of all the pitchers in baseball history, only two - Sal Maglie and Freddie Fitzimmons - reached 200 wins and had a .597 winning percentage but didn't make the Hall of Fame.
I doubt Schilling will make it three. Especially considering he has the best strikeout-walk ratio ever.
