For one day, young Orioles fans know what it feels like to win a World Series game. To be down as much as they were and come back is a glorious feeling.
The Orioles had their most exciting win of the season.
The Nats react to a steroid story.
We're seeing less of Charlie Manuel.
And why is Carlos Zambrano going absolutely batcrap crazy?
Leading Off
We have to talk about the O's. Nolan Reimold sounds like a fireballer from Texas. Instead, he's a hero of Baltimore. The Orioles came back from big deficits in the eighth and tenth. Now the team has to make sure the win isn't just a memorable fluke. It must start a streak. Even if it's a small one. Three or four games could be a lot, confidence-wise, for this young club.
Call The Southpaw a homer, but If the AL East isn't careful this club could sneak up on it by the end of the season.
Regional Roundup
More O's hype,
- Peter Schmuck likes the change he's seeing.
- Charlie Manuel is slimming down. Good for ole Cholly. What's Amaro up to? is he looking to make a deal?
- The Nats have reacted to the story that a man arrested for selling drugs says he sold steroids to members of the team.
- The Duke was dominant, the bullpen faltered.
Best of Rest
Randy Johnson is closing in on a milestone.
- Hideki Matsui sparked the Yankees, who are now in first place.
- The Red Sox took a cue from Lou Reed and took a walk on the wild side.
- The Dodgers are looking for arms. Isn't everybody?
- Randy Johnson is one win away from 300.
- Russell Branyan has come out of no where. He had another big day.
- Rick Porcello has five straight wins.
Batter's Eye
- Let's be honest, we love Carlos Zambrano because he could very well be insane. OK, he's not certifiable. But he does wear his heart on his sleeve. Just find his meltodown on YouTube, it will be up there soon enough.

The Closer
Could Jeff Francoeur be headed to Boston? The Journal-Constitution says it's a possibility.
Francoeur has not developed the way the Braves had planned.
But could putting him in front of the Green Monster rejuvenate his career?
That's a possibility.
