Vlad is back.
The Pads are on fire.
And Jerry's in trouble.
Leading Off
The San Diego Padres struggled to start the season, but they are on fire now. With a 10-inning win, The Pads have won their 10th in a row.

Today in history
1930 -- Joe Sewell of the Cleveland Indians, who fanned only three times in 353 at-bats during the season, was struck out twice in the same game by Pat Caraway of the White Sox.
1956 -- Cincinnati pitchers John Klippstein, Hershell Freeman and Joe Black combined for 9 2-3 hitless innings, but the Reds lost 2-1 in 11 innings to the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Closer
Vladimir Guerrero is back. That's big news for the Angels. We'll freely admit Vlad is no longer the player he once was, but we were shocked that he wasn't in The Sporting News top 25. His batting average is 25 points higher than Mickey Mantle's, he has more home runs than Jim Rice, more runs driven in than Dale Murphy, Albert Belle and Gary Carter.
Last season, Guerrero hit .303 with 27 homers. So he's still got it.
