A pair of YAIAA alums are on the roster for the Delaware Valley College football team that recently was ranked fourth in Lindy's 2009 College Football Preview, fifth by the Sporting News and 25th in the USA Today Sports Weekly College Football Division III Preseason Top 25.
New Oxford grad Adam Smith (shown below running for the Colonials) will be a junior for the Aggies, coming off a season in which he carried the ball 22 times for 123 yards, an impressive 5.5 yards-per-carry and a touchdown. Smith also had 15 catches for 110 yards and a score, plus led the team with eight punt returns for 51 yards.
Also listed on the DVC roster is Sam Nosoff, a 2007 York Suburban grad, who will be a junior offensive lineman.

Adam is no longer on the DelVal squad as he left to play with his brother. However, Sam Nosoff is now the starting right guard in what looks to be a very stout o-line. In last Saturday's 23-7 win over Johns Hopkins, Sam had a fumble recovery. This coming Saturday is the ECAC championship rematch with Kean at their impressive stadium. Should be a good game.
Steve,
Thanks for the update on Sam and Adam. Sounds like Adam is off to a good start to the season.
