Day 2 of Nick Brady in Las Vegas

| | Comments (0)
Nick Brady, the former Delone Catholic and York College basketball star, returned home on Friday after a solid performance at the 10th annual Hart Sports Management International Exposure Camp In Las Vegas.

The team Brady played for won two-of-three games and he was second on the squad in scoring, averaging 12 points per game, plus pulled down 5.5 rebounds per contest. Always a good shooter, Brady was an amazing 13-of-16 from the field, including 9-of-11 from 3-point range, during the three games.

"I was wondering when I left if I would be happy when I got home on Friday. I am," he said over the phone while driving home for BWI.

Brady caught the eyes of many of the scouts on hand from leagues around the globe. He met several agents, many who requested his highlight tape from his Spartan playing days. He also has an offer to play in Iceland.

"It was a great experience. The competition was unbelievable," he said of going up against primarily former Division I players. "It might be a foot in the door with another offer. The ace-in-the-hole is I still have the contract offer with Iceland. September 1, I could be on my way."
