Generett scores for UConn against Michigan

Former William Penn football (and basketball) star Malik Generett, who is entering his redshirt freshman season at UConn, scored the game-winning touchdown for the Huskies in their season opener at Michigan.

At least, that was the way it happened in EA Sports NCAA 11 on PlayStation 3 played by Daily Record/Sunday News copy editor and video guru Matt Goul.

A video replay of Generett's 16-yard TD reception from quarterback Zach Frazer (a Mechanicsburg grad) can be seen here.

Considering the rise of UConn football under York County native Randy Edsall and the fall of the Wolverines, such a play actually happening when the two squads meet at the Big House on September 4th is quite possible.
