First, he said Dover would have a catastrophe because of the intelligent design case. Then, he said that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s stroke was God's wrath for “dividing the Holy land. He is Pat Robertson, the infamous televangelist. What’s next, Pat? Every high-schooler who fails is failing because it’s God’s wrath?
Although Pat has freedom of speech and religion, he’s abusing it. He makes the most radical statements at completely wrong times, ignorant of everything. Most people, including many highly ranked in the church, are angry at Pat’s statements.
Pat, here are some ideas for you:
First, apologize to everyone you’ve offended, including those in Dover and the Israelis.
Second, you should retire from preaching; it has apparently gone to your head, as you try to quote the Bible for all the unique situations in life. Seeing how we have very little proof that these events are actually connected with God, I’d advise you to keep your mouth shut before it gets you into too much trouble. Have you noticed how angry the citizens of Dover were after you critizited them? And have you heard the anger from Israel after you told them that Ariel Sharon’s stroke is connected with God’s wrath?
Basically, you need to shut up and retreat from the public spotlight, which went to your head, before it gets you into too much trouble.

By the way, Yahoo news just posted an article saying that the Isreali's are even looking at Robertson anymore, and that if he says it again, he could be in for some trouble.
I just read a Google news article that said that Robertson apologized for his remarks about Israel and Prime Minister Sharon.
I definitely agree that Robertson should think before he blurts out what he believes are God's reasons for actions that occur. No one knows why events happen the way they do. Also, Robertson should realize that he isn't a prophet; prophets no longer exist. Hasn't Robertson read Hebrews 1:1-2:
"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son [Jesus]."
This means that God no longer communicates to us through prophets. And since Jesus will not return until the last judgment, this time period will see no special revelation from God. Thus Robertson is not a prophet.
