Cold But Worth It

| | Comments (0)

Just minutes from Canada's border, the University at Buffalo sits with some of the most extensive majors for a public college.

UB has some uniquely designed buildings to withstand the huge amounts
of snowfall that Buffalo encounters nearly every winter. With
underground passages and indoor bridges going to almost every building on
campus, the only thing standing between you and the heart of the university
is literally just a walk across the street (sometimes, however, that
still isn't enough). But how can one downfall ruin a perfectly amazing
place?

The University at Buffalo is located on two campuses. The main campus
lies 10 minutes south of Buffalo in Amherst, N.Y. The north campus is
located on the edge of the city of Buffalo. There is also a new
research center in the heart of Buffalo. This campus, however, is saved for
the medical field. The university offers transportation between the
campuses, as well as bike paths for those who wish to preserve oil.

Buffalo offers some of the best food and entertainment for people who
like to travel off-campus for fun. Canada is directly over the Peace
Bridge, which is a few blocks from the center of town.
