My friend isn't talking for a week.

We had a National Day of Silence at our school on April 18th. Kitty designed T-shirts with cute anime drawings of a boy or girl. Each said "Who says boys can't kiss boys? End Discrimination. The girl shirt said likewise. (substitute 'girls') The silence represents the gays/lesbians/bi's who are afraid to come out. My one friend wanted to try being silent for a week. She's pretty determined...but seeing bugs causes her to accidently talk. (i.e. "Ew!") Other than a few mishaps, she hasn't said a word. I talk TO her on the phone. Yes, I can stand doing that. When communication is necessary, she writes in a little red notebook.
