Chocolat - most unappreciated movie of the millenium year!

| | Comments (4)

While having a casual sleepover party, my two friends and I sat down to indulge in something that sounded decadently delightful. We plucked Chocolat out of the DVD sleeve, jammed it with much success into the machine and collapsed on the couch after a day of finals...

The movie started out intriguingly, and the plot began to unfurl with a sense of magic and charm. However, half way through, we were excited to realize that the movie was only going to get better...

Some "river rats" blew in with a balmy summer breeze.

One of them was Johnny Depp.

Our pizza dropped from our hands and fell to the floor. Who knew a later eye-linered pirate captain could look so good? The movie carried on, but time raced by, due to our constant swooning/Johnny Depping, and before we knew it, the whole thing was over.

But we have our memories.

thats hot!! i LOVE that movie

cool post no so hot on johnny but the movie is nice

I saw that movie a long time ago and loved it. I love the way you wrote about your viewing experience! :)

I am also a HUGE fan of this movie. You should buy the soundtrack, too! It's great to play in the kitchen while you're making anything, strangely enough.

Also, if you loved Chocolat, you should also definitely watch "Amelie" if you haven't already. Plus, that's another film with an amazing soundtrack. :)
