I never noticed how beautiful the morning really is
This all started in about five in the morning. I woke up noticing that my cat was trying to lie on my face. Knowing this I sat him on the floor trying to go back to sleep. Needless to say, my cat found other things to do besides lay on my face.
I walked down the steps completely annoyed with my cat. Once I fed him I looked outside the window. I saw that the sky was a pretty shade of pink and purple, it almost looked like a painting. I never saw the sky like this before because I usually never get up this early. I decided to walk outside to get the paper, the York Daily Record by the way. I was barefoot and my feet were freezing.
The sun shined on my face, the air smelled like fresh pine, the temperature was perfect. There was no people, no cars, no nothing, just nature all to myself. I wanted to lay in the grass and lay there forever and just soak it up. As I was heading back inside I noticed how pretty all my moms flowers looked, and how pretty all the birds sounded. Needless to say, I gave my cat a big hug. I could have never seen how beautiful the morning really was, cold feet and everything. So next time an annoying pet wakes you up in the morning take the chance to go outside and see a different side of nature.

What a nice experience Corinne! The cat I had for most of my life used to tap on my eyelids to wake me in the morning. The one I have now just walks around crying until I get out of bed. :)
Morning really IS gorgeous, but I know I tend to stay in bed till about 10 or 11, so I often miss it too! =)
Corinne, I'll keep this in mind the next time my 22-pound cat is walking on my head at 5:30 in the morning. Maybe instead of swearing and kicking him off the bed, I can get up and enjoy the sunrise. Then again, maybe I'll just stick my head back under the pillow.
